Our newborn baby girl is two weeks old today! I'm pretty proud of us for keeping her happy and healthy so far. I noticed very quickly that some baby items we received on our registry or that we bought ourselves were what I'm calling MUST HAVE items.
What's interesting about these MUST HAVE items is that some of them seemed more like "wants" or "luxury" items more than "needs." I stand corrected!
Here are my top, unexpected baby items that are MUST HAVE's that will make your life so much better!
Coffee is a comfort thing and a way of life. It's my hygge. So, I'm updating my kitchen coffee bar for me so I can have my "caffeination station" the way I want and need it for those sleepless nights and morning pick me ups while I'm on maternity leave. I received some awesome feedback from you all on Instagram Stories, so thank you! I'll post my final make-over this week!
You can get some inspo from " My Amazon Picks." They are linked to some items I found on Amazon for my caffeination station make-over!
Curiosity is connecting the dots.
Curiosity is asking, "What if?" and "Why?" and "How?"
Curiosity is continuous learning.
In my leadership experience, I've found that being curious leads to innovation. Sometimes curiosity leads to brand new ideas. But more often than not, it leads to ideas that are just different enough than an existing idea that they just might work.
I am sharing 5 ways I've trained my brain to lead with curiosity!
This is not another post about time management.
This is a post about actually making space in your life for all the versions or dimensions of you that truly fulfill you.
What do I mean? Well here's the thing. Many of us have different aspects of our lives that make us who we are. No one thing defines us.
So how do we make space in our lives for being a complete person, doing everything that fulfills us, while not letting just one dimension of our lives define us and pull us away from the rest of it?
Here are some things I have learned over the course of the last few years to help me be my true self and acknowledge every dimension of me that yearns to shine.
