Oh roses...where do I start...
My grandfather, "Grandpa Buddy," showed me how to draw roses when I was young. He was a master of swift, charcoal pencil strokes. The drawing didn't come from his mind, but from his spirit. His hands moved without thought, but his body knew exactly what it was doing.
Over the years, I've taken when I've learned from him, and I've been drawing roses in so many different ways. This is one rose creation of mine, and it turned out to be a very structured, dark, and detailed rose drawing. I'm in love with it. So much so that I matted and framed it for whoever should love it as much as me.
I believe a flower or a rose is a sign of invitation and even a sign of love or welcoming. This would make a really interesting wall hanging in your home or office space.
